gkv Promotes Alexei “Al” Yukna

Yukna promoted to Chief Digital Officer

bio_yuknagkv announced today the promotion of Alexei “Al” Yukna of Towson from director of interactive services to Chief Digital Officer. Yukna has been with gkv for more than three years and has played a large role in the expansion of gkv’s interactive and digital assets and services. He brings more than 12 years of experience of Web site development, media technology and project management to this new role, which will help continue to position gkv as a leader in digital services.

gkv’s Interactive division designs and implements Web-based marketing and communications initiatives based on an analysis of each Client’s goals. The team has also developed a suite of products that includes a customizable content and asset management system as well as interactive campaign management tools.

Yukna manages gkv’s Interactive group, overseeing the technical and creative aspects of gkv Clients including Maryland State Lottery, Werner Company, MedStar Health, Martek Biosciences Corporation, Coventry Health Care, Lance Snack Foods, and Cape Cod Potato Chips, among others.

Prior to joining gkv in 2006, Yukna was a senior developer for the Washington, D.C., office of London-based AKQA. He worked with such clients as ESPN, AOL, Boston Scientific and the U.S. Postal Service. Yukna also served as the director of media technology for a regional mortgage company where he managed day-to-day IT operations, Web development initiatives and oversaw a large, proprietary CRM/Lead Management application.
