gkv NAMES THREE NEW AGENCY PARTNERS
Dave Broscious, Dan Collins and Cathy Kowalewski named Partners in the Agency
gkv, an integrated Baltimore-based marketing communications firm, announced that it has named three additional Partners in the Agency management structure: Dave Broscious, Associate Creative Director; Dan Collins, Strategic Planning Director; and Cathy Kowalewski, Chief Financial Officer.
gkv’s three additional Partners will join the existing Partners comprised of Roger Gray, Chairman and CEO; Jeff Millman, Vice Chairman and Chief Creative Officer; Garry Raim, President of gkv Direct/Interactive; and Kevin Kempske, Executive Vice President of Public Relations, Outreach and Account Management.

Dave Broscious - Associate Creative Director
Broscious currently serves as Associate Creative Director at gkv. During his 11 years with the Agency, Broscious has worked on campaigns that have garnered awards not just from creative peers, but from business and government associations as well. Some of his most notable campaigns have been recognized by the New York Festival, the National Addys and the Philadelphia Director’s Club. One of his recent television spots was also named as a finalist in the 2008 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.
He is a firm believer that good creative comes as a result of paying close attention to every detail in normal life and from having a total respect of the audience’s time and intelligence.
Broscious has been the Creative Team Leader and Copywriter for Clients such as: Cape Cod Potato Chips, L-3 Communications, Lance Snacks, Maryland State Lottery, MedStar Health, National Aquarium in Baltimore and University of Virginia - Darden School of Business.
Prior to joining gkv in 1999, Broscious worked as a copywriter at two Pennsylvania-based agencies. He received his bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Pennsylvania State University. Broscious resides in Catonsville, Md. with his wife and two children.
Dan Collins - Strategic Planning Director
Collins currently serves as Strategic Planning Director at gkv. Collins joined gkv in 2003 and has more than 20 years of strategic planning, branding and advertising experience across a range of categories, including consumer packaged goods, personal care products, travel and tourism, financial services and healthcare. His career has included working for Procter and Gamble, Kellogg’s and Shell International across three continents: North America, Asia and Europe.
Collins provides research and strategic planning advice for Clients such as: Cape Cod Potato Chips, L-3 Communications, Lance Snacks, Martek Biosciences and Aerotek, as well as gkv’s rapidly growing roster of branding clients such as AIG and Metropolitan Jewish Health System.
Collins earned his bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Collins resides in Towson, Md. with his wife and two children.
Cathy Kowalewski - Chief Financial Officer
Kowalewski currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at gkv. Kowalewski first joined gkv in 1983 as a billing supervisor. During her 26-year career at gkv, Kowalewski has been promoted to controller and most recently was named Chief Financial Officer in 2007.
Kowalewski oversees the entire accounting department as well as manages employee benefits and human resources programs. Kowalewski’s financial experience began in retail where she spent several years as an office administrator/bookkeeper handling payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, as well as the order, receiving and pricing of inventory for a sporting goods store. Kowalewski also co-owned a 7-Eleven in Harford County, Md. with her husband. Under their management, the store was one of the top grossing 7-Elevens in the state.
Kowalewski resides in Bel Air, Md. with her husband, Boe, of 20 years and their two teenage children, Karen and Brett.
