If Web advertising is still in it’s infancy, then mobile application advertising is like a teenagers’ first date; awkward and exciting, yet thoroughly uncharted territory. I’d be interested to see how the conversion rates start to shake out. Give it some time, but I’d bet that clients and advertisers alike will start to see this as a great way to appeal to a younger generation and help turn thumb-jammers into consumers.
