darrenmyersI’ve had ink on my fingers for 25 years, and I have a love affair with paper that’s so passionate, my friends and family avoid the subject. I laugh at the idea of a paperless world, and believe that the role of print will continue to evolve – filling in where electronic media falls short. My dog has trained me to spend a lot of time in the park (no illusions of who’s in control there). When ever possible, I prefer to see the world from the saddle of my bicycle. I have become a connoisseur of diners, sandwich shops, and dive bars. There is something very pure about pool tables, shuffle bowl, pinball, fried food, cold beer, and a jukebox heavy with honky-tonk and classic rock.

Old and Uncool

In 1976, Friday nights meant that my sister and I were waiting for “The Donny and Marie Show” to come on. Flash forward to seeing Donny and Marie’s show in Vegas and noticing that not a lot has changed 30 years later, except how they relate to the audience, which has made them relevant again.

Big Boyz Pens: They’re Everywhere!

Can putting your company logo on a tchotchke improve your relationship with the customer?
In the Baltimore area, it seems to have worked for Big Boyz Bail Bonds. Almost everyone is familiar with the company’s yellow and pink pens.
